In winter 2018/2019, 50 athletes from China with their coaches Franz Gamper and Hansjörg Plankensteiner were on a training stay here in the Antholzer Tal.
The ski athletes prepared here for the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.
Training slope
On the 1,600 m long ski slope you can enjoy skiing to your heart's content. It is also ideal as a training slope for downhill Super G and giant slalom training. Here, even the pros can demonstrate their skills and abilities. The „Riepenlift“ is the right place to improve your skiing skills away from the hustle and bustle. The „Riepen“ ski lift invites both holiday guests and local winter sports fans to spend wonderful days in the snow.
"Buckelpiste"
Those looking for another little adventure will particularly enjoy the legendary "Buckelpiste" at the Riepenlift in Antholzertal.
This section of track on the edge of the ski slope is littered with small, bumpy snow hills and sharp bends.
