Alta Pusteria International Choral Festival

The Alta Pusteria International Choral Festival was founded in 1998 and since then, until 2019 a total of 22 editions took place. Over 1250 choirs from 49 different countries have participated in the event so far. The event program each year includes about sixty performances in the form of concerts, where each participating choir is free to present its performance.

The 28th Alta Pusteria International Choir Festival will take place from June 11 to 15 in the Pusteral valley. On June 12, the welcome festival returns to Kronplatz - 36 choirs, 1,293 voices and a panoramic view of the Dolomites included. On 13 June, the NOBIS cultural center at Bruneck fills the night with sound colors with eleven ensembles, before the historic Ragenhaus invites you to the acoustic finale with five choirs on 14 June. All performances are free of charge. Just come along, listen and get goosebumps.

"The variety of the locations selected for the performances together with the extremely rich repertoire presented by the participating choirs make this event not only one of the most spectacular international choral festivals but also a unique opportunity of mutual and fruitful exchange between different musical cultures."
