Olympic torch run at Kronplatz

On January 27, 2026, the Olympic Flame will make a special stop at Kronplatz on its journey to the Winter Games. Between 2 pm and 3 pm, the torch will be carried in a festive ceremony across three iconic locations:

  1. Concordia 2000 Peace Bell

  2. Messner Mountain Museum Corones

  3. LUMEN Museum

Visitors are warmly invited to be part of this historic moment and experience the spirit of the Olympics high above the mountains.

Additional side event at the LUMEN Museum:

Join us for a charity auction supporting a good cause. Shortly before the start of the Milano–Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games, you will have the unique opportunity to experience works by Leon Löwentraut from his “Olympia” series for the very first time. Following the vernissage at 11:00 a.m., a charity auction will take place at 11:30 a.m., in cooperation with Home of Athletes, where one artwork from the series will be auctioned. The entire proceeds will be donated to South Tyrolean Sports Aid.

An emotional encounter between art and sport, bringing together athletes, creatives and visionaries – and a strong statement of community and commitment.
