The Kronplatz

Situated in the beautiful Pustertal Valley, Kronplatz is considered by many to be the number one wintersports resort in South Tyrol and is also a popular summer destination for familieshikerscyclists and all those who enjoy culture and relaxation in beautiful surroundings.

A day on the slopes in Kronplatz really does offer everything you could wish for on holiday. This mighty mountain between Bruneck-Brunico, St. Vigil-San Vigilio and Valdaora-Olang has 31 state-of-the-art lifts serving 121 km of pistes catering for all abilities: beginners, cruisers and experts.

Intermediate skiers will appreciate the wide runs down into the valley, while ambitious skiers and snowboarders can test their mettle on the Black Five.

The resort's team of professional piste groomers ensures that visitors enjoy excellent conditions throughout the season.

Part of Dolomiti Superski

Holders of a Dolomiti Superski pass can use the lifts and slopes in Kronplatz.

The area is connected to other resorts in the region. For example, the Piculin cable car opened in 2007 gives visitors access to the Sellarondaresort. 

ski bus shuttle service running every 20 minutes connects Kronplatz to Alta Badia.

Snowpark Kronplatz

Snowboarders and freestyle skiers are spoilt for choice in Kronplatz.

The snowpark has recently relocated to the Belvedere Piste and now offers an Easy Line, Medium Line, Medium Rail Line and Medium Kickerline promising plenty of tricks and adrenaline.

The resort is also home to one of the largest ski schools in the region as well as many hire shops with the latest equipment.

Traditional huts and stylish restaurants mean that wintersports enthusiasts certainly won't go hungry, while a number of party locations directly next to the slopes are perfect for a spot of après ski.
