The Speck Alto Adige Festival will take place on 26 and 27 September 2026 at the summit of Kronplatz. The summit can be easily reached by cable car from Reischach near Bruneck or Olang/Gassl.

Arriving by car

There are two cable car stations to choose from to reach Kronplatz:

Via Reischach
Reischach – valley station Kronplatz 2000
Address: Seilbahnstraße 10, 39031 Reischach/Bruneck

Parking is available directly at the valley station. Parking fees apply.

Via Olang
Olang/Gassl – valley station Olang 1+2
Address: Gassl 23, 39030 Olang

Parking is also available directly at the valley station and is free of charge.

From both valley stations, you can take the cable car directly to the summit of Kronplatz.

Arriving by train & bus

The Speck Festival is also easy to reach by public transport.

Via Bruneck: Take the train to Bruneck railway station, then continue by bus to Reischach and the Kronplatz 2000 valley station.

Via Olang: Take the train to Olang railway station, then continue by bus to the Olang 1+2 valley station in Gassl.

From either valley station, the cable car takes you up to the event venue at the summit.

Tip: Before setting off, check the latest train and bus connections for the day of the event on Südtirolmobil.

Kronplatz summit

The Speck Festival takes place at an altitude of around 2,275 metres above sea level. The cable cars to the summit will operate from 9:00 am during the festival weekend.

Please note: In case of bad weather, the South Tyrolean Speck Festival may be relocated from Kronplatz to Bruneck. We therefore recommend checking the latest event information shortly before your journey.
