Skilift Pichl Gsies
The skilift Pichl is open from December 6, 2025.
Pichl is a family-friendly ski lift in the stunning Val Casies-Gsiesertal valley. Ideal for children and at the same time an attractive choice even for demanding training requirements, it offers a snow-park for the little ones and three ski runs with different ratings:
Thanks to the technical expertise of LEITNER ropeways from Vipiteno-Sterzing, one of the world's leading manufacturers of ropeway systems, Pichl II will be one of the most innovative and state-of-the-art surface lifts worldwide: With speeds reaching up to 3.2 m/s, it can transport a whopping 720 persons per hour.
Not in the mood for action? Perhaps you'd prefer to simply sit back and unwind on the sun-spoilt terrace of the restaurant overlooking the slopes, from where you can watch your children's first skiing adventures and indulge in some traditional delicacies while you're at it.
Ski and snowboard fans are not the only ones in for a treat: The well-known cross-country skiing slope of the Val Casies-Gsiesertal valley also runs right past the ski lift, offering an ideal starting point to explore the famously picturesque route.
The small ski station also offers plenty of parking with direct access to the slopes.
